Construction Manager - Regional NSW 

Wanting to work for a Civil Contractor with an excellent reputation for project delivery, with a track record of employing only the highest quality candidates? Feel you want to work on a multi million dollar RTA Alliance project and further gain your already honed professional skills. 

We are currently looking for suitable quality Construction Manager to help with the delivery of such a multi faceted project. You will have had experience at a Senior level in your current position and have had been involved at project establishment stage.  

You will also have had assistance in the delivery of civil infrastructure work for roads and bridge project in the past. 

Requirements 

• Interpret plans and estimate costs and quantities of materials needed 
• Coordinate the supply of labour and materials  
• Third level qualification in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or have come from a trade background and worked your way up 
• Project Management and / or Construction Management experience 
• Experience in the preparation of tenders 
• Daily management of company site staff and equipment  
• Experience in managing multiple Project Manager on multiple projects 
• Negotiation experience 
• A clear understanding of and capacity to develop & implement OH&S Management Plans, Quality Management Plans, Environmental Management Plans 
• High level of computer literacy; including MS Word, XL, Project, PowerPoint 
• Proven ability to plan, organise and execute construction activities 
• Ability to effectively liaise with clients and authorities 
• Experience in programming and scheduling of works 
• Willingness to work in a regional location 
•  
• Supervise construction sites and direct site managers and subcontractors to make sure standards of building performance, quality, cost schedules and safety are maintained  
• Control preparation of cost estimates and the documentation for contract bids  
• Control payment to subcontractors by valuation of completed works  
• Consult with architects, engineers and other technical workers to make sure that design intentions are met
